Health Compliance Program
Overview
Axzons Healthcare’s mission is to provide quality, cost-effective healthcare in a positive and productive work environment. In fulfilling this mission, Axzons is dedicated to adhering to the highest ethical standards, and, accordingly, recognizes the importance of compliance with all applicable state and federal laws. Reflecting this dedication, Axzons Healthcare has developed and implemented a Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program.
The Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program is designed to ensure (i) that Axzons Healthcare associates are generally familiar with the laws, rules, and regulations that govern their specific employment responsibilities, (ii) that Axzons Healthcare associates always have a way to report concerns about inappropriate conduct, and (iii) that Axzons Healthcare associates become an integral part of ensuring compliance throughout all of Axzons Healthcare’s business operations.
All Axzons Healthcare associates shall receive training and education on the Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program and shall be required to certify their acceptance of the requirements set forth in the Compliance Manual. The success of the Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program and the success of Axzons Healthcare’s mission to continue to provide quality, cost-effective healthcare in a positive and productive work environment depends greatly on the dedication and efforts of each and every Axzons Healthcare associate.
Axzons Healthcare Associate Compliance Responsibilities
- Receive compliance training upon hire and at least annually thereafter;
- Sign compliance affirmations upon hire, promotion and at least annually thereafter;
- Be familiar with contents of the Axzons Healthcare Compliance Manual and abide by associate standards;
- Promptly report suspected violations;
- Be familiar with laws, rules and regulations that affect job responsibilities;
- Receive continuing education.
